Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the am I? mobile application ("the App"), provided by VAV ("we", "us", or "our"), handles information. Questions may be sent to vavxxx@gmail.com.
1. Information we handle
Depending on how you use the App, we may handle:
- Profile information you provide, such as name, age, and gender.
- Google account information supplied through Google Sign-In, such as your Google account identifier, display name, and email address.
- Assessment activity, including selected topics, answers, scores, result history, progress, and action plans.
- Purchase information required to verify Pro access, such as product ID, purchase token, order reference, purchase time, and subscription status. We do not receive or store your full card or bank details.
- Technical information needed for security, authentication, diagnostics, and reliable operation, such as session identifiers and basic request logs made available by hosting infrastructure.
2. How information is used
We use information only to:
- Show topics appropriate for the user's age and profile.
- Run assessments and generate readiness results and action plans.
- Save and synchronize progress across supported devices.
- Authenticate users and protect their accounts.
- Verify, restore, and manage Pro purchases.
- Maintain security, prevent fraud, and troubleshoot the App.
- Comply with applicable legal obligations.
3. Local profiles and Google accounts
A local profile stores progress on the device. Google Sign-In is optional, but it is required when you want supported cloud synchronization or to restore Pro access on another device. Signing out removes the active session from the device but does not by itself delete synchronized account data.
4. Services that receive data
We use the following service providers to deliver App functionality:
- Google Sign-In for account authentication.
- Google Play Billing and Google Play Developer services for purchases, subscription status, restoration, and fraud prevention.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers where needed to store synchronized account data and operate the service.
These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not sell personal information and do not use assessment answers for third-party advertising.
5. Health and other sensitive topics
Some assessments concern health, pregnancy, relationships, finances, or other sensitive life situations. The App is a self-reflection and educational tool. It does not diagnose conditions and does not replace medical, psychological, legal, or financial professionals.
6. Data security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information. Authentication credentials are validated through Google, and session tokens stored by our service are hashed. Purchase status is verified through Google Play where the required server configuration is available. No system can guarantee absolute security.
7. Retention and deletion
Local information remains on the device until it is cleared, the App is removed, or the local profile is reset. Synchronized account information is retained while needed to provide the service or until deletion is requested, subject to limited retention required for fraud prevention, purchase records, dispute resolution, security, or legal compliance.
To request deletion of your App account and associated data, visit the Account and Data Deletion page or email vavxxx@gmail.com from the Google email used in the App. We may ask for reasonable verification before completing the request.
8. Children's privacy
The App is intended for users aged 13 and older. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided information, contact us so that it can be deleted.
9. International processing
Information may be processed in countries other than the user's country. Where required, we take reasonable steps to use appropriate safeguards.
10. Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy of your personal information. Contact us at vavxxx@gmail.com.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the App changes. The effective date at the top will be updated when material changes are made.
